2. Removing the Packing Materials Remove all of the packing materials protecting the scanner. 1. Remove the orange tape (3 pieces) securing the outer case. 3. Remove the sheet. 2. Attach the feed tray and gently open the document eject tray. 4. 5. Remove the sheet. 7. Gently close the panel unit. Press on both sides of the unit until you hear a click, which indicates the unit is locked. 6. Remove the stopper and sheet from the feed roller. 8. Gently close the document eject tray.
