SIP Installation and Removal Chapter 5 Installing and Removing a SIP Step 4 Tighten the locking thumbscrews on both sides of the SIP. Step 5 Connect all cables to each SPA. To remove a SIP, refer to Figure 5-2 and do the following: Step 1 Step 2 Step 3 To remove the SIP, first disconnect all cables from each SPA. Loosen the locking thumbscrews on both sides of the SIP. Slide the SIP out of the router slot.
