An E port may be isolated because of a zone merge failure. Table 8-8 lists possible causes and solutions to this problem. The active zone sets on the two switches differ from each other in terms of zone membership (provided there are zones at either side with identical names). The active zone set on both switches contains a zone with the same name but with different zone members.
