Table 20-1 iSLB Configuration Not Distributed to All Switches in the Fabric Symptom Possible Cause iSLB configuration Not all switches are running Cisco not distributed to all SAN-OS Release 3.0(1) or later. switches in the fabric. CFS distribution is not enabled for iSLB. Solution Update switches to Cisco SAN-OS Release 3.0(1) or later. Enable CFS distribution for iSLB. Use the show cfs application name islb CLI command to determine if CFS distribution is enabled. Or use the show cfs peers name islb CLI command and check to see if any switches are missing from the output. Use the islb distribute CLI command to enable CFS distribution. 20-58 Cisco MDS 9000 Family Troubleshooting Guide, Release 3.x OL-9285-05

iSLB Configuration Not Distributed to All Switches in the Fabric
Symptom
iSLB configuration is not distributed to all switches in the fabric.
Table 20-1
iSLB Configuration Not Distributed to All Switches in the Fabric
Symptom
Possible Cause
Solution
iSLB configuration
not distributed to all
switches in the fabric.
Not all switches are running Cisco
SAN-OS Release 3.0(1) or later.
Update switches to Cisco SAN-OS Release 3.0(1) or later.
CFS distribution is not enabled for
iSLB.
Enable CFS distribution for iSLB. Use the
show cfs
application name islb
CLI command to determine if CFS
distribution is enabled. Or use the
show cfs peers name
islb
CLI command and check to see if any switches are
missing from the output.
Use the
islb distribute
CLI command to enable CFS
distribution.
