Replacement Procedures Drive Cage Assemblies ProLiant 3000 Servers ship with either Wide-Ultra or Ultra2 drive cage assemblies. The WideUltra and the Ultra2 drive cage assemblies include the drive cage and backplane board. Wide-Ultra Hot-Plug Drive Cage To remove the Wide-Ultra drive cage assembly - Compaq ProLiant 3000 | ProLiant 3000 Servers Maintenance and Service Guide - Page 34
every Wide-Ultra drive cage assembly. It is removed and replaced using the same steps as the Simplex Enabler board. The Duplex Enabler board has a SCSI connector for removable media use.
