Replacing Parts When troubleshooting a problem, check the following list for possible solutions before replacing parts: ■ Verify that cables are connected properly to the suspected defective part. ■ Verify that all required device drivers are installed on the notebook. Expansion Base is not plugged into an AC power outlet, draining the notebook battery pack. Plug the Expansion Base into an AC power outlet. If the above solution is unsuccessful, the power supply may be malfunctioning. Replace the power supply.
