Command Parameters create arpentry config arpentry delete arpentry {[ | all]} show arpentry {ipif | ipaddress | static} config arp_aging time clear arptable Each command is listed, in detail, in the following sections. create arpentry Purpose Syntax Description Parameters Restrictions Used to make a static entry into the ARP table. create arpentry This command is used to enter an IP address and the corresponding MAC address into the Switch's ARP table. − The IP address of the end node or station. − The MAC address corresponding to the IP address above. Only Administrator or Operator-level users can issue this command. The Switch supports up to 255 static ARP entries. Example usage: To create a static ARP entry for the IP address 10.48.74.121 and MAC address 00:50:BA:00:07:36: DES-3800:admin#create arpentry 10.48.74.121 00-50-BA00-07-36 Command: create arpentry 10.48.74.121 00-50-BA-00-07-36 Success.
