Routing information entered into the Static Routing Table on the local xStack switch is also redistributed. src [static | rip | local] − Allows for the selection of the protocol for the source device. mettype [1 | 2] − Allows for the selection of one of two methods of calculating the metric value. • Type-1 calculates (for RIP to OSPF) by adding the destination's interface cost to the metric entered in the Metric field. • Type-2 uses the metric entered in the Metric field without change. This field applies only when the destination field is OSPF. metric − Allows the entry of an OSPF interface cost. This is analogous to a Hop Count in the RIP routing protocol. Only Administrator or Operator-level users can issue this command. Routing information source − RIP. the Static Route table, and the Local interface routing information. Routing information will be redistributed to OSPF.
