xStack DES-3800 Series Layer 3 Stackable Fast Ethernet Managed Switch CLI Manual create/delete dhcp excluded_address Purpose Syntax Description Parameters Restrictions Specifies the IP addresses that the DHCP server should not assign to DHCP client. create dhcp excluded_address begin_address < ipaddr > end_address < ipaddr > delete dhcp excluded_address [begin_address < ipaddr > end_address < ipaddr > | all] The DHCP server assumes that all IP addresses in a DHCP pool subnet are available for assigning to DHCP clients. You must use this command to specify the IP address that the DHCP server should not assign to clients. This command can be used multiple times in order to define multiple groups of excluded addresses. < ipaddr > Start/end addrress of ipaddress range. Only Administrator or Operator-level users can issue this command. Usage Example: To specify the IP address that DHCP server should not assign to clients.
