Flexible, Capable and Scalable
The DGS-3630 Series is designed for use with three different software
images: The Standard Image (SI), the Enhanced Image (EI) and the MPLS
Image (MI). The three segments are for core SMB/SME, enterprise integration
and ISP functionality and provide flexible capabilities for small to large scale
topology.
Intelligent Switch Resource Management
The Switch Resource Management (SRM) feature provides many resources that can be
distributed and optimised as needed by applications. It provides resource configuration
flexibility allowing users to allocate more resources for tables that require more entries
and prevents wasting resources on unused functions.
