Use the default form of the command to set the login banner to factory default. banner login LINE default banner login Syntax Description LINE A displaced string and spaces are allowed. The maximum length is 320 characters. In addition, two special character sequences are used; '/n' is used as new line and '/r ' is used as a carriage return. When a multiple lines banner is needed, use special character sequences such as '/n' which represents a new line and '/r ' which represents a carriage return. However if '/n' or '/r' is required to be displayed as part of the string in the line, then both '/n' and 'r' must be prefixed with another '/' as an escape sequence to overide the special character sequence functionality, for example '//n', or '//r'. At the end of each line is either a '/n' or '/r' . If more than 80 characters are entered without an '/n' or '/r' ending the line, then the line will be truncated and the first 80 characters are displayed. CLI Reference Guide 57
