DIRECTV® HD DVR RECEIVER USER GUIDE EXTRAS CALLER ID Depending on your phone company, the "Caller ID" option may be labeled in the format "Telco Caller ID" where "Telco" is your phone company's name; or it may appear in the "Extras" option when you press MENU. To set up your receiver to display an onscreen notice whenever you receive a call, press MENU and select "Caller ID", then select "Turn on Notices". This will toggle the option to now read "Turn off Notices". Note: In some areas, you must press MENU, then select "Extras", then select "Caller ID", then "Turn on Notices" or "Turn off Notices". NOTE: You must subscribe to caller ID service through your phone company and your DIRECTV Receiver must be connected to the phone line. You can review your 25 most recent calls in the call log at any time. To see your call log, press MENU, select "Caller ID" then select "Call Log". CALLER ID
Depending on your phone company, the “Caller ID” option may
be labeled in the format “Telco Caller ID” where “Telco” is your
phone company’s name; or it may appear in the “Extras” option
when you press MENU.
To set up your receiver to display an onscreen notice whenever
you receive a call, press MENU and select “Caller ID”,
then
select “Turn on Notices”. This will toggle the option to now read
“Turn off Notices”.
Note: In some areas, you must press MENU, then select
“Extras”, then select “Caller ID”, then “Turn on Notices” or
“Turn off Notices”.
NOTE:
You must subscribe to caller ID service through your
phone company and your DIRECTV Receiver must be connected
to the phone line.
You can review your 25 most recent calls in the call log at any
time. To see your call log, press MENU, select “Caller ID” then
select “Call Log”. Highlight and select a name to delete that
listing from your log.
