10 Installing Printer Drivers on the Windows Computers Identifying Printer Driver Pre-install Status Before installing the printer driver on your computer, check the IP address of your printer by performing one of the following procedures. NOTE: The images used and procedures described in this manual are those of Dell™ 2155cdn Multifunction Color Printer. • When Using the Operator Panel • When Using the Tool Box When Using the Operator Panel 1 Press the (Menu) button. 2 Press button until System Setup is highlighted, and then press the (Set) button. 3 Ensure that Report/List is highlighted, and then press the (Set) button. 4 Ensure that System Settings is highlighted, and then press the (Set) button. The system settings report is printed. 5 Look under the TCP/IP heading on the system settings report. If the IP address shows 0.0.0.0 (the factory default), an IP address has not been assigned.
