Scan Defaults Scan To Network Displays whether to save scanned documents on a network server or on a computer. File Format Displays the file format in which scanned documents are to be saved. Color Displays whether to scan in color or in black and white. Black & White Button Displays whether to scan in black and white or in grayscale when Black & White is selected for a color mode. Color Button Displays whether to scan in color or in color (Photo) when Color is selected for a color mode. Resolution Displays the default scan resolution. Document Size Displays the paper size of the original. Lighter/Darker Displays the default scan density level. Sharpness Displays the default sharpness level. Contrast Displays the default contrast level. Auto Exposure Displays whether to suppress the background of the original to enhance text on the scan. Auto Exposure Displays the background suppression level. Level Margin Top/Bottom Displays the value of the top and bottom margins. Margin Left/Right Displays the value of the left and right margins. Margin Middle Displays the value of the middle margin. TIFF File Format Displays the selected TIFF file format; TIFF V6 or TTN2. Image Compression Displays the image compression level. Max Email Size Displays the maximum size of e-mail that can be sent.
