Resolution Purpose: To specify the default scan resolution. Values: 200 x 200dpi* 300 x 300dpi 400 x 400dpi 600 x 600dpi Document Size Purpose: To specify the default document size. Values: A4 (210 x 297 mm)*1 A5 (148 x 210 mm) B5 (182 x 257 mm) Letter (8.5 x 11")*1 Folio (8.5 x 13") Legal (8.5 x 14") Executive (7.25 x 10.5") *1 The default for Document Size varies depending on country-specific factory default. Lighter/Darker Purpose: To set the default scan density level. Values: Lighter2 Lighter1 Normal* Darker1 Darker2 Makes the scanned image lighter than the original. Works well with dark print.
