Prerequisites

Remove the battery. See "Removing the Battery" on page 12.

Remove the base cover. See "Removing the Base Cover" on page 20.
Procedure
1
Remove the screws that secure the hard-drive assembly to the computer base.
2
Using the pull tab, slide the hard-drive assembly to disconnect it from
the system board.
3
Using the pull tab, lift the hard-drive assembly off the computer base.
