Procedure 1 Use the alignment posts on the computer base to place the I/O board in position. 2 Replace the screw that secures the I/O board to the computer base. 3 Adhere the I/O-board cable to the computer base. 4 Slide the I/O-board cable into the I/O-board-cable connector and press down on the connector latch to secure the cable. Postrequisites 1 Replace the palm rest. See "Replacing the Palm Rest" on page 32. 2 Replace the keyboard. See "Replacing the Keyboard" on page 19. 3 Replace the base cover. Procedure
1
Use the alignment posts on the computer base to place the I/O board in position.
2
Replace the screw that secures the I/O board to the computer base.
3
Adhere the I/O-board cable to the computer base.
4
Slide the I/O-board cable into the I/O-board-cable connector and press down on
the connector latch to secure the cable.
