Procedure 1 Clean the thermal grease from the bottom of the heat sink and reapply it. 2 Align the screw holes on the heat sink with the screw holes on the system board. 3 In sequential order (indicated on the heat-sink), replace the screws that secure the heat sink to the system board. Postrequisites 1 Follow step 5 to step 11 in "Replacing the System Board" on page 42. 2 Replace the wireless card. See "Replacing the Wireless Card" on page 35. 3 Replace the palm rest. Procedure
1
Clean the thermal grease from the bottom of the heat sink and reapply it.

Align the screw holes on the heat sink with the screw holes on the system board.
3
In sequential order (indicated on the heat-sink), replace the screws that secure the
heat sink to the system board.
Postrequisites

Follow step 5 to step 11 in "Replacing the System Board" on page 42.
