User Interface enable The enable User EXEC mode command enters the Privileged EXEC mode. Syntax enable [privilege-level] • privilege-level - Privilege level to enter the system. (Range: 1 - 15) Default Configuration The default privilege level is 15. Command Mode User EXEC mode User Guidelines There are no user guidelines for this command. Example The following example enters Privileged EXEC mode: Console> enable enter password: Console# disable The disable Privileged EXEC mode command returns to the User EXEC mode.
