9 Command Line Interface Overview The PowerVault NX3500 Command Line Interface (CLI) provides a convenient way to manage the PowerVault NX3500 system. It can be used to configure subsystems, manage administrative users, enable licensed features, and to monitor the system. The CLI contains a set of commands to view, edit, add, delete, enable, disable and set PowerVault NX3500 entities, such as exports, shares, volumes and accounts. From the CLI, you can enter a specific menu and then execute its commands, as required. The following commands are available throughout the system: • help: lists the currently available menus or commands. At any moment while using the CLI, you can either type "help" or type "?" to see the available options/menus. • back: moves back one level in the menus hierarchy. • main: returns to the main menu. • exit: exits the PowerVault NX3500 CLI.
