Surround : Set the presence and size of the Surround speakers. Select speaker configuration • Large : Use of a large speaker that can adequately play back low and size. frequencies. "S.Back" is displayed when the "Amp Assign" setting (vpage 25) is set to "Normal". "Large" is not displayed when "Front" is set to "Small". S.Back : Set the presence, size and number of surround back speakers. • Large : Use of a large speaker that can adequately play back low frequencies. • Small : Use of a small speaker that has inadequate playback capacity for low frequencies. • None : Select when the surround back speakers are not connected. • 2sp : Use two surround back speakers. • 1sp : Use only one surround back speaker. Surround back audio is output from the surround back L terminal. • "Large" is not displayed when "Surround" is set to "Small". • E ven if "S.Back" is set to "Large", the "S.Back" setting is automatically switched to "Small" if "Surround" is set to "Small". "Front Height" is displayed when the "Amp Assign" setting (vpage 25) is set to "Front Height". NOTE Even when the Surround Back Speaker setting is other than "None", sound may not be emitted from the surround back speaker, depending on the playback source. In this case, "Surround Back" setting other than "OFF" (vpage 45). Front Height : Set the front height speaker size. • Large : Use of a large speaker that can adequately play back low frequencies. • Small : Use of a small speaker that has inadequate playback capacity for low frequencies. • None : Select when a front height speaker is not connected. NOTE Select "Large" or "Small" not according to the physical size of the speaker but according to the low frequency reproduction capabilities based on the frequency set at "Crossover Frequency" (vpage 27). • "Large" is not displayed when "Front" is set to "Small". • E ven if "Front Height" is set to "Large", the "Front Height" setting is automatically switched to "Small" if "Front" is set to "Small".
