ENGLISH Multi-Source recording/playback The Multi-Source function allows you to record a source other than the source currently playing or to output its signal to the MULTI ZONE output terminal. [1] Playing one source while recording another (REC OUT mode) B 1 Press the REC OUT button. • REC lights and the unit is set to REC OUT the REC OUT mode. (Main unit) 1, 4 2 DISPLAY 1 2 2 Press the SELECT button until the source you want to record appears on the set's display. • The indicator for the selected program source lights. SELECT (Main unit) 3 Set the recording mode. • For operating instructions, refer to the manual of the component on which you want to record. 4 To cancel, press the REC OUT button again. REC OUT (Main unit) • REC is extinguished and the REC OUT mode of this unit is cancelled. NOTES: • The signals of the source selected in the REC OUT mode are also output from the ZONE 2 and ZONE 3 output terminals. (There is output when ZONE 2 and ZONE 3 are ON.) • When the REC OUT mode is set and both the ZONE 2 and ZONE 3 modes are set to "ON", the modes do not turn off even when the REC OUT button is pressed. To turn them off, set the ZONE 2 and ZONE 3 modes to "OFF". 17
