14 DX-32L200A12/DX-37L200A12/DX-46L262A12 Using the remote control Connecting a camcorder or game console To connect a camcorder or game console: 1 Make sure that your TV's power cord is unplugged and the camcorder or game console is turned off. 2 Connect a composite cable (provided) to the VIDEO and L and R audio jacks on the side of your TV and to the AV OUT jacks on the camcorder or game console. Note You can also press VIDEO to select the device. 3 Turn on the camcorder or game console, then set it to the output mode. See the documentation that came with the device for more information. Using the remote control Installing remote control batteries To install the remote control batteries: 1 While pressing the cover release latch on the back of the remote control, lift the cover off the remote control. 2 Insert two AAA batteries into the battery compartment. Make sure that you match the + and - symbols on the batteries with the + and - symbols in the battery compartment. 3 Replace the battery cover. Cautions • Batteries should not be exposed to excessive heat, such as sunshine, heat registers, or fire. • Battery chemicals can cause a rash. If the batteries leak, clean the battery compartment with a cloth. If chemicals touch your skin, wash immediately. • Make sure that batteries are disposed of correctly. Do not burn or incinerate.
