You should hear a clicking sound when setting to HI. If no clicking sound is present, turn the dial back clockwise to OFF and refer to 'Troubleshooting' for advice. 3 When the burner is lit, turn the dial to any setting between HI (high) and SIM (simmer). CARE AND CLEANING ALWAYS • Read these instructions and the 'Safety and warnings' section before you start parts'. Keep the notches of the flame spreaders clear. WHAT? Ignitors Burner grates CARE AND CLEANING HOW? IMPORTANT! Ensure the burner is turned OFF. Clean the ignitor with a small brush or cotton swab that has been dipped into rubbing alcohol.
