S-Video Out Jack The S-Video Out jack is used to transmit a higher resolution video signal to a compatible TV or VCR. Note that in order to use this jack, you must use the Mini S-Video Cable Adapter that came with your system. (Figure 41). To connect the S-Video cable follow these easy steps: 1 Align the adapter cable connector with the jack opening. 2 Push the connector into the jack until it is seated. 3 Plug the other end of the cable into a standard S- Video cable from the video device.
