11 Weather Foreword XM Weather data are displayed by the Weather Data Link function when Getting an optional datalink is configured for weather or the StormScope® system is Started installed. The Wx Weather pages may be oriented to Track Up, Heading Up, or Xpdr Ctrl North Up. When a weather product is active on Map function or the Weather Data Link Com/Nav function is selected, the age of the data is displayed on the screen. The age of the product is based on the time difference between when the data was assembled FPL on the ground and the current GPS time. Weather products are refreshed at Direct-To specific intervals (shown in the Product Age column on the right side of the Weather page). When two weather products are installed, a key for each product Proc will be shown. Touch the key for the desired weather product. When a single weather product is installed, touching the Weather key will go directly to the Wpt Info Weather page. This ensures that the displayed data is consistent with Utilities what is currently being broadcast by XM Satellite Radio services. If more than half of the expiration time has elapsed from the time the data is received, the System color of the product age displayed changes to yellow.
