12.8 Nearest ARTCC The Nearest ARTCC page displays the facility name, bearing to, distance, and frequency to the five nearest ARTCC points of communication (within 200 NM of your present position). For each ARTCC listed, the Nearest ARTCC page also indicates the frequency(s) and may be used to quickly tune the COM transceiver to the center's frequency. Touch the ARTCC Frequency key to place the frequency in the standby field of the COM window. Touch the COM Active window to flip/flop the Com frequencies (GTN 650 only). 1.
