Drives and Accessories Using the DVD drive You can use your notebook to enjoy a wide variety of multimedia features. Identifying drive types Your Gateway notebook may contain one of the following drive types. You do not need to restart your notebook when changing most cards because your notebook supports hot-swapping. . Connecting a USB device Your notebook has USB ports for connecting devices such as a diskette drive, flash drive, printer, scanner, camera, keyboard, or mouse. Managing Power Monitoring the battery charge Your new Gateway notebook is designed to provide an exceptional balance of performance and portability.
