Water Filter 4. Remove the protection film from the new water filter, then insert the new filter into the holder with the handle in a vertical position. 5. Turn the filter clockwise, until it won't move any more. The handle should be in a horizontal position. 6. When the replacement is done, flush the water line for 5 minutes to get rid of impurities. Throw away flush water. 7. At last, don't forget to reset the water filter alert display. NOTE 1. Without the water filter, the cold water dispenser and the ice maker won't work. 2. Do not use with water that is microbiologically unsafe or of unknown quality without adequate disinfection before or after the system. Systems certified for cyst reduction may be used on disinfected waters that may contain filterable cysts. 2. After installation of new water filter, discard all ice produced during the first 24 hours. 3. If water dispenser or ice maker has not been actively used for an extensive time, or if ice cubes have an unpleasant taste or odor, change water filter. 4.
