Service Tests and Utilities WARNING NOTE 1. Tubes Purge The purpose of this Service Utility is to Prime the Tubes when a new Tubes System has been installed. ALWAYS PERFORM THE TUBES PURGE AFTER REPLACING THE TUBES SYSTEM. Make sure that there is enough ink remaining in the Ink Cartridges before starting to prime the tubes. If there is not enough ink remaining, you will get a warning message. Perform the Tubes Purge as follows: 1 In the Service Utilities submenu, scroll to "1. Tubes Purge" and press Enter. Service Utilities 1. Tubes Purge 2. Release Info 3. Set Asian Fonts 4. Printer Model Type 5. Overdrive Cleaning Top Back ↑ Make Selection ↓ Enter Press Enter 2 The Printer will begin to startup and in order to continue, press Enter.
