Service Tests and Utilities WARNING NOTE 6. Paper Axis The purpose of this test is to verify the operation of the Paper Axis Motor. IF POSSIBLE ALWAYS PERFORM THIS TEST BEFORE REPLACING THE PAPER AXIS MOTOR. IF THIS TEST PASSES, DO NOT REPLACE THE PAPER AXIS MOTOR. The Service Tests work in a special Mode which does NOT require the full Initialization of the Printer. Therefore it is important that once you have finished with the Service Test, you MUST power OFF the Printer and Power ON again before trying to print. NOTE Make sure you perform this test with NO media loaded. Perform the Paper Axis test as follows: 1 In the Service Tests submenu, scroll to "6. Paper Axis" and press Enter.
