About this Device

The HP Plinth Rack Option Kit enables you to secure

HP 10000 Series racks to the floor.

The items and quantities required for installation include:

Plinth front and rear assembly pieces (2)

•

Plinth side assembly pieces (2)

•

M8 hex nuts (8)

•

Internal serrated lock washers (8)

•

External serrated lock washers (4)

•

M12 x 25 mm long screws (4)

•

Eyebolts (4)

Tools Required

The following tools are required for installation:

•

M8 hex wrench

•

M13 socket wrench

•

T-30 Torx driver

Rack Considerations

Before beginning these procedures, be sure you follow and

understand these precautions:

WARNING:

To reduce the risk of personal injury or damage to

the equipment be sure that:

•

The leveling feet are removed.

•

The stabilizing feet are removed.

•

The casters are removed.

•

The front and rear doors are closed and locked.
