Both input trays have side media guides. The main input tray also has a rear media guide. Media guides ensure that the media is correctly fed into the printer and that the print is not skewed (crooked on the media). You can print on a variety of media, such as paper (including up to 100% recycled fiber content paper), envelopes, labels, transparencies, and custom-sized media. Note The copier/scanner for the HP LaserJet 1220 printer can handle a broader range of media sizes and types than the printer itself can.
