Loading trays Use special print media, such as envelopes, labels, HP LaserJet glossy paper, HP LaserJet Photo paper, and transparencies in Tray 1 and Tray 2. Loading Tray 1 Tray 1 (the single sheet priority feed slot) prints single sheets of print media or a single envelope. Use Tray 1 when feeding one sheet of paper, envelope, postcard, label, HP LaserJet glossy paper, HP LaserJet Photo paper, or transparency. You can also use Tray 1 to print the first page on different media than the rest of the document. Media guides ensure that the media is correctly fed into the printer and that the print is not skewed (crooked on the media). paper, and transparencies in Tray 1 and Tray 2.

Loading Tray 1
