, unplug the power cord and remove all batteries before installing a memory module. CAUTION: Electrostatic be sure both memory modules are the same size. To add or replace a memory module: 1. Lift the memory module compartment cover (2) away from the computer. 9. If you are replacing a memory module, remove the existing memory module: a. 10. Insert a new memory module: NOTE: If you are inserting a memory module and both memory module slots are vacant, be sure that you insert the memory module into the primary memory module slot. a.
