2. Connect the Scanner in the
Order Shown
1.
Check that the TMA cable is plugged into its port on
the back of the scanner.
2.
Connect the power supply to the scanner and then
plug it into a surge protector or grounded wall
outlet.
3. Install the Software
1.
Close all programs.
2.
Insert the HP Image Zone CD that is appropriate for
your language and operating system.
3.
Connect the USB cable to the scanner and to your
computer.
4.
Follow the onscreen instructions to finish the
installation.
Windows:
If the installation does not start automatically:
On the
Start
menu, click
Run
and type:
D:setup.exe
(where D is the letter of the CD-ROM drive).
Macintosh:
Double-click the CD icon on the desktop.
Then double-click on the install icon in the window.
4. To Scan
1.
Place photos or documents on the scanner glass as
indicated by the reference mark on the scanner
.
(To scan film, see the User’s Manual.)
2.
Press the scan button and follow the onscreen
instructions.
Scanner Buttons
Scan
– Scans pictures, graphics, documents,
and objects.
Scan Film
– Scans transparent positives, such as
35 mm slides, and negatives using the
transparent materials adapter (TMA).
Copy
– Scans the item and sends it to a printer
to make a copy.
Scan to Share
– Sends the scan to HP Instant
Share or to your email program.

2. Connectez le scanner dans l'ordre
indiqué
1.
Vérifiez que le câble de l'adaptateur pour supports
transparents (TMA) est bien branché sur son port à
l'arrière du scanner.
2.
Branchez le cordon d'alimentation sur le scanner,
puis sur un parasurtenseur ou sur une prise murale
reliée à la terre.
3. Installation du logiciel
1.
Fermez tous les programmes.
2.
Insérez le CD HP Image Zone correspondant à votre
langue et à votre système d'exploitation.
3.
Branchez le câble USB sur le scanner et sur
l'ordinateur.
4.
Suivez les instructions affichées pour terminer la
numérisation.
Windows :
Si l'installation ne démarre pas
automatiquement, procédez comme suit : Dans le menu
Démarrer
, cliquez sur
Exécuter
, puis tapez :
D:setup.exe
(D représente la lettre du lecteur de
CD-ROM).
Macintosh :
Double-cliquez sur l'icône du CD sur le
bureau. Puis, double-cliquez sur l'icône d'installation
dans la fenêtre.
4. Numérisation
1.
Placez les photos ou les documents sur la vitre du
scanner, face imprimée contre la vitre, comme
indiqué par les marques de référence sur le scanner
. Pour numériser du film, reportez-vous au Guide
de l'utilisateur.
2.
Appuyez sur le bouton de numérisation et suivez les
instructions affichées à l'écran.
Boutons du scanner
Numériser
– Numérise des photos, graphiques,
documents et objets.
Numériser du film
– Numérise les positifs
transparents, tels que les diapositives 35 mm,
et les négatifs à l'aide de l'adaptateur de
supports transparents (TMA).
Copier
– Numérise l'élément et l'envoie à une
imprimante pour en faire une copie.
Numériser pour partager
– Envoie la
numérisation à HP Instant Share ou à votre
programme de courrier électronique.
