Hard Drive Cage The drive cage sits behind the USB ports on the front of the chassis. 1. Prepare the computer for disassembly (Preparation for Disassembly on page 30). 2. Remove the computer access panel (Computer Access Panel on page 38). 3. Remove the optical drive and connector (Removing the Existing Optical Drive on page 46). 4. Remove the hard drive (Hard Drive on page 49). 5. Remove the two Torx T15 screws that secure the cage to the chassis (1), lift the tab (2) on the hard drive cage, slide the cage toward the rear of the unit (3), and then pull the cage up and out of the chassis.
