Introduction Media & Ink Solutions Front Panel Printer Options Other Index Page Format Setting Page Size in the Front Panel Image Appearance Print Management Printer Configuration What is the Queue? Your printer can store pages in a queue at the same time as printing the current page. It stores them page by page. If you send only a single-page, you can regard these as files. The size of the queue is limited by number of jobs (maximum of 32 jobs) and the total memory available. The queue stores processed output pages, not the input jobs. NOTE: If you send a very complex PostScript job with Queueing Off, the printer may stop during printing of the image while it is processing the job. This may result in an image quality defect. To avoid this, always print very complex files with Queueing On. When Queueing is On and the printer receives print files, the files are stored in the queue in the order they are received. If Nesting is Off (the default), the files are printed as soon as possible, in the order they are received. If Nesting is On, files are printed when the time-out period expires or there are enough files to fill a page width. You can re-send files which have already been printed.
