Base plate position, Base plate securing screws

Note Base plate position Improper positioning of the base plate will cause printed images to be misplaced on the paper. For best results, the base plate should be centered. 1 Loosen the two securing screws on the base plate. Figure 57. Note Base plate securing screws 2 If the printout is placed too far to the top of the page, move the plate toward the rear of the printer. 3 If the printout is placed too far to the bottom of the page, move the plate toward the front of the printer. 4 When adjustment is complete, tighten the two securing screws.
