E055 (printer) The duplexing driver PCB has detected that the horizontal registration guide has moved in excess of the maximum distance from when the home position was detected. Cause Step Horizontal 1 registration guide Horizontal 2 registration guide home position sensor (PS25) lever Horizontal 3 registration guide drive gear Duplexing driver 4 PCB Horizontal 5 registration guide home position sensor (PS25) Horizontal motor 6 (M7) Duplexing driver PCB Checks Y/N Is the horizontal registration guide NO mounted correctly? Is the horizontal registration guide YES home position sensor lever damaged? Is the horizontal registration guide YES drive gear worn or cracked? Are connectors J2006 and J2005 NO of the duplexing driver PCB connected securely? Replace the horizontal registration YES guide home position sensor (PS25). Is the problem corrected? Replace the horizontal registration YES motor. Is the problem corrected? NO Action Mount the guide correctly. Replace the lever. Replace the worn or cracked gear. Connect the connectors securely. Replace the sensor. Replace the horizontal registration motor (M7). Replace the duplexing driver PCB. E066 (printer) During image stabilization control, the dc controller PCB cannot detect the temperature sensor signal (TMPSNS) or the humidity sensor signal (HUMSNS). Cause Connector (temperature and humidity sensor) Step 1 temperature and 2 humidity sensor Checks Are connectors J801 on the temperature and humidity sensor and connector J206 on the dc controller PCB connected securely?
