Self-diagnostic messages If a self-diagnostic (error) message appears, see the instructions on the touch panel display. If there is no message, but the HP Color LaserJet 8550MFP fails to make copies, there might be an error in the printer unit. Follow the instructions on the printer control panel display. Table 20.
