Managing your remote servers with
HP iLO Advanced and LO100i
Advanced
Overview
With HP iLO Advanced and LO100i Advanced Packs, you can diagnose
server problems no matter where you are. You can manage and control your
HP servers, regardless of:
•
The server location (across the hall or around the world)
•
The server state (on, off, booting up, or no operating system)
•
Your server expert's location (the office, at home, or on the road)
HP iLO comes installed on every ProLiant ML and DL 300/500/700 series
server, as well as every HP BladeSystem ProLiant server. HP LO100i comes
installed on most ProLiant DL100 series servers. To upgrade to Advanced
licenses, enter a license key. No other installation is required.
Additionally, iLO Advanced saves you time and money because it offers a
graphical or text-based console, automatic video recording, server power
capping, and team collaboration capabilities. It is more than just remote
access for your data center. It is total control of your infrastructure, anytime,
anywhere

Advanced
Free 60-day iLO and LO100i Advanced trial licenses are available for
evaluation, see the HP website (http://www.hp.com/go/TRYiLOforLinux

Click the
Administration
tab for a specific system and enter the license key.
2.
Accept the license agreement, all Advanced functions are fully enabled.
You can apply only one evaluation license for each server. After the
evaluation period ends, the evaluation license expires, and a full Advanced
license is required to continue using the functionality on your server.
