Fuser CAUTION: The fuser might be hot. Allow enough time after turning off the product power for the fuser to cool. 1. Open the right-door assembly. 2. Grasp the handles and squeeze the blue release levers (callout 1). Figure 2-5 Remove the fuser 1 2 3. Pull the fuser (callout 2) straight out of the product to remove it. Reset the New Fuser Kit setting at the control panel NOTE: Use this procedure to reset the internal page count if a replacement fuser is installed. 1. At the control panel, press the Home button . 2. Open the following menus: ● Administration ● Manage Supplies ● Reset Supplies ● New Fuser Kit 3. Use the Down arrow button to highlight the Yes item, and then press OK to select it.
