Off* On Description Use this feature to exercise individual parts independently to isolate noise, leaking, or other issues. To start the test, select a component. The test runs the number of times specified by the Repeat option. You might be prompted to remove parts from the product during the test. Press the Stop button to abort the test. The test will run the number of times specified by the Repeat option. Isolates print quality faults more accurately by stopping the product in mid-print cycle, which allows you to see where the image begins to degrade. This causes a jam message that might need to be manually cleared. A service representative should perform this test. Stores product diagnostic data on a portable storage device.
