• Add the license(s) • Expand the capacity of the HP D2D Backup System IMPORTANT: When connecting multiple upgrade kits to an HP D2D4300 Series Backup System, add all licenses before expanding the capacity of the HP D2D. 3 Applying the license and completing the RAID expansion Applying the LTU To increase the capacity of your HP D2D Backup System with the Capacity Upgrade Kit you must first obtain a permanent License To Use (LTU) from the HP Licensing website and then use the HP D2D's Web Management Interface to - HP D2D | HP D2D4100 Series and D2D4300 Series Backup System Capacity Upgrade Kit - Page 12
apply the licenses for all shelves before running the expansion process. 1. Go to the Status-Storage page on the HP D2D's Web Management Interface and select the Storage Pool tab. 2. Click Add in the Configured Shelves section. A warning is displayed that all devices on the HP D2D Backup System will - HP D2D | HP D2D4100 Series and D2D4300 Series Backup System Capacity Upgrade Kit - Page 13
