To change the printer's Bluetooth device name (Windows) 1. Connect the printer to your computer with a USB cable. 2. Open the Toolbox. See Toolbox (Windows). 3. Click the Printer Services tab. 4. Click Bluetooth Settings. 5. Enter a new printer name of up to 60 characters in the Printer Name box. 6. Click OK. The printer's Bluetooth device name is changed. To change the printer's Bluetooth device name (Mac OS) 1. Connect the printer to your computer with a USB cable. 2. Open the HP Printer Utility. See HP Printer Utility (Mac OS). 3. Click the Bluetooth Settings panel. 4. Enter a new printer name. 5. Click Apply Now. The printer's Bluetooth device name is changed. PIN code This option allows you to change the printer's PIN code. When the printer is set to Encryption required (see Encryption required), devices attempting to use the printer are prompted for a PIN code. To change the printer’s Bluetooth device name (Windows)
