Serial Number Location Every thin client includes a unique serial number located as shown in the following illustration. Have this number available when contacting HP customer service for assistance. Installation Sequence To ensure the proper installation thin client hardware components: 1. Back up any data, if necessary. 2. If the thin client is powered side access panel, expansion module, and metal side cover. 3. Remove the cover from the unit by first lifting the rear (screw side) of the cover, and then lifting the cover off the unit (3).
