The address 192.0.0.192 is set, consistent with older Jetdirect products. Specify the IP address (n.n.n.n) of the Primary Domain Name System (DNS) Server. Specify the IP address (n.n.n.n) of the Secondary Domain Name System (DNS) Server. Specify the proxy server to be used by embedded applications in your printer. A proxy server is typically used by network clients for Internet access. It caches Web pages, and provides a degree of Internet security, for those clients. To specify a proxy server, type its IP address or fully-qualified domain name. The name can be up to 64 characters. For some networks, you might need to contact your Independent Service Provider (ISP) for the proxy server address. Type the port number that the proxy server uses for client support. The port number identifies the port that is reserved for proxy activity on your network, and can be a value from 0 to 65,535. Enable the IPX/SPX protocol. Disable the IPX/SPX protocol. Select the frame type setting for your network. AUTO (default) automatically sets and limits the frame type to the first one detected. These EN values are frame-type selections for Ethernet networks. Enable or disable the AppleTalk protocol. Enable or disable the DLC/LLC protocol. For secure, encrypted communications, only HTTPS access is accepted. The print server appears as a secure site.
