Paper feed After the pickup operation, the paper feeds through the product and into the fuser. 1. The paper passes through the feed rollers. The registration shutter aligns the paper correctly to prevent skewed printing. 2. The DC controller detects the leading edge of paper by the Registration sensor (SR8) and controls the rotational speed of the pickup motor to align with the leading edge of image on the ITB. 3. The DC controller detects whether or not the media is overhead transparency, using the OHT sensor. 4. The toner image on the ITB transfers onto the media, which feeds to the fuser.
