following: • One cable from the MDS600 or D6000 storage drawer to the switch offers single-domain connectivity. For dual-domain support, an additional I/O module must be installed in the storage drawer and connected to the switch. • The cable is connected to the primary I/O module, SAS port 1. • For - HP MDS600 | HP BladeSystem Deployment Guide for Solutions with 6Gb SAS BL Switch - Page 86

ports, 4x, and 8x (high-performance) cabling, see "HP 6Gb SAS BL Switch" (page 20). • Adding a second HP 6Gb SAS BL Switch (even though this is a single-domain environment) improves performance by providing two more connections between the MDS600/D6000 drawer and the server, for a total of four - HP MDS600 | HP BladeSystem Deployment Guide for Solutions with 6Gb SAS BL Switch - Page 88
to storage drawer 1, primary I/O module, port 2 IMPORTANT: Because it includes two HP 6Gb SAS BL Switches, this configuration is similar in appearance to a dual-domain, high-performance configuration.
